“My heart dances with joy”- Suzie Cheel

Letting My Creativity Out To Play

One of my intentions for August was to paint each day. This week I realised this still wasn’t happening for me! On Wednesday I decided to head into the studio. It was time to start a NEW Intuitive Heart Series. I had painted 45 heart back in 2011 as part of my healing process and these I now use for my Weekly Heart Whispers . The Heart Whisper ezine is approaching Issue 52 so I knew it was time to start a new series.

The first painting is in response to the centering thought ” My loving truth shines for all to see” meditation from Oprah and Deepak’s 21 Day Meditation Challenge. I am always delighted when I allow my intuition out to play and see what plays out on the paper.

The comments I have had on facebook when I first shared this heart delighted my heart!

So yes my heart was dancing with joy. So Thursday rolled around and it was not so full of joy as I faced some branding issues- I will share that story in another post. 🙂

I then headed into the studio after some clearing the mind and soul at the beach to paint. this time I was drawn to my water color crayons and the dancing hearts you see below literally danced onto the paper and when I shared them in my accountability thread, Marney wrote these words:

The dancing hearts are SO joyous, Suzie!! What an amazing practice.
Think of how different the world would be if everyone created Dancing Hearts art every day…Marney Makridakis

Dancing HeartsThe dancing hearts at the top of the page are the same drawing as this one, taken in different light the next day and I loved the way it appeared as a new image.  It was like the picture had another message to share. That maybe was a message for me in the struggle I was experiencing with my branding issue. I am still working on that and I do have clarity on moving forward..

The dancing hearts were giving me joy, so late yesterday when I headed in to my studio I was thinking dancing hearts and this time rainbows. Again I took out the crayons and laid down in heart patterns a rainbow background which I washed over and then let dry. When I came back to it it just seemed natural to pick up the matching rainbow color and let the hearts dance onto the page.

When I woke up this morning I was feeling full of joy, the cloud and fog of the past week seems to have lifted and I drew an angel card and when I saw it was JOY I knew I had made the shift. I had been seeing references to this being a special time for change.

Louise Edlington’s  said Thankfully this coming week will be less heavy though we are building up to yet more powerful aspects so keep watching! You can find out all about the upcoming week in the video .

Nicole Cody had written “There’s change in the air. We’re finally shifting away from those old energies, those old patterns, and into the beginnings of a new space.”

Yes I am feeling the shift, the heaviness I have experienced over the past week or so is lifting and I can see the rainbows ahead and the feel the joy and the love within. I am looking forward to more JOY!

  1. Suzie,
Your artwork is awesome. Your hearts (I like the big blue one the best) bring joy to my heart just looking at them. I do start each day with joy in my heart and I’m especially grateful if I have stayed in that space all day.

    Thank you for this post.

  2. These colors make me dance for joy! They are delicious and exhuberant. i’ve been very busy, not sure if I’m dancing, but I’m looking forward to more creative joy in my life as I start Marney’s program in two weeks! It was your wonderful energy that moved me toward her, so I look at your work with openness and gratitude. There’s my joy!

    1. Hi Judy,

  3. Thank you Suzie for your imagination of rainbow heart dance. I like the dance a lot. Joy has no color and limitation. First of all the colors reflect joy with different amount of magnitude by its height.

  4. Yes, I was dancing with joy yesterday. I’ve been working on shifting some vibrations and removing limited beliefs and I handled yesterday beautifully with joy through all the craziness.
    And squealing too!

  5. So beautiful Suzie. Our 7 year old granddaughter is a drawer of hearts too and just like yours – they sing with their own special glory.

It’s no coincidence that you should be writing about joy…I’m on day 15 of a 100 challenge to seek joy in every single day…and once you begin looking for it…you find it in the most unexpected places.

How lovely to be on the same page as you dear heart.

    1. I love Elle how we are often on the same page and how wonderful that you are doing a joy challenge.

    1. Suzanne that is awesome that you saw the emotion from me, I know that in starting to paint again there is release and freedom as well as new ways for expression xx

  6. Wow! was my first word when I saw your dancing hearts 🙂 I love the bright combination of colors all dancing away, a joyful creation that reflects the joy in your heart! I agree joy is in us, we just have to wake it up every morning and say, hey there is a new day ahead of me. Thanks for sharing your inspiring thoughts.

  7. I can feel your joy as I look at these paintings! I feel as though it has spilled out from the images right onto me!! Sooooo Big Thanks for sprinkling your joy on us all! 😀

  8. your paintings are beautiful. I love all of the energetic use of colour. I too am enjoying Oprah and Deepak’s 21 day meditation challenge. I am so happy to hear someone else whom I “know” loving it too.

    1. Hi Kate,
thanks for your uplifting comment, I love “the energetic use of colour” we all see things in new ways. Yes I think this is the mediation I am getting the most out of .

  9. Beautiful, Suzie. When I first saw your blue heart with green background, I thought blue for truth, and green for clear communications. I’m so happy to know that you arrived at the hearts with joy.

    1. Hi Susan,
Love your interpretation especially the green for clear communication + blut for truth- speaking one’s truth relates to the blue of the throat chakra too
yes the joy came after i had been to my happy place the beach
      Namaste

    1. Welcome Terry,
Thanks I love that they seem alive. May i make a suggestion? Take the try out of the sentence and say to yourself I wake up……… the word try has stopping power 🙂
