“You are your own best friend. Never ever, put yourself down.” – Paul Coehlo
So Are You Your Own Best Friend?
Do you treat yourself the way you treat your best friend?
Think for a moment of what you do for your best friend?
- You are always there for them
- You love them unconditionally
- You treat them
- You like them
- You love them
- You understand them
- You accept them
- You share your deepest secrets with them
- You celebrate your successes
- You cry with them
- You are loyal
- You care for them
- You trust them
- You hold them in high esteem
- You know and accept their flaws
- You take them out
- You respect them
- You listen to them…..and the list goes on and on…………
So what a wonderful list that is. You could make a check list from this and start to become your own best friend. So today treat you.
I started by treating myself today and having a lavender, coconut oil bath (it was raining again so another week of missing the beach) and I used my friend Heather Bestel‘s Just 10 minutes meditation. I was totally relaxed and refreshed.
Are you giving yourself Me Time: Heather has just opened The Happiness Garden’ A virtual retreat. Heather has created a place to totally relax, nurture yourself and we can create pure MAGIC (manifest, act, grow, inspire and change) together. You will be able to get your own copy of her wonderful meditations including Just 10 minutes, heather has the most amazing deal on right now- just $47 for a full year’s membership. When you see what’s in there you will be amazed. Be quick before the price goes up!

What a great idea to think about how we treat our friends and then turn that towards ourselves. It’s amazing to see how we overlook ourselves as worthy of our love and attention. Great post.
Hi Galen,
Yes it is amazing how we so often forget to be both kind and gentle with ourselves. Thank you
Hello Suzie,
Is there any special objective behind choosing 21 days or is it just a random number.
Whatever it is, the concept is so amazing and lovely..I stumbled upon your blog accidentally and have fallen in love with it because you give inspirational stories and inspirational life lessons from your heart..Amazing work Suzie…!
Sincerely,
Rafi
Welcome Rafi,
Some say it takes 21 days to create a new habit, then there’s the 40 day theory and on it goes.I decided on 21 because it felt right- yes from the heart. Your comment has made my heart sing and i am so happy you stumbled across my blog. Such a delight and so encouraging. I see you inspire too- great name
Be love
Suzie

That lavender coconut oil bath sounds wonderful!! You’ve inspired me to “put myself in time out today” for a little R&R.
It was I trust you did treat yourself and feel good 🙂
Hi Suzie,
If every woman did this wouldn’t the world be a wonderful place?
I also use essential oils and the combined EFT and Hooponono. Wonderful combination.
Yes it would, So good to read that you use the same combos and get results- I love EFT and this challenge has me using it more often especially to heal- Hooponono I fine releases negativity too 🙂
Love this Suzie, I’ve been thinking about you this week…about wher you live and the beautiful hearts you paint and the beautiful flowers you see and share with us…I LOVE your light! There was a bit of heart whisper today in my post…LOL
