“Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma – which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of other’s opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.” ~Steve Jobs ♥
Today’s inspiration comes from a post on Facebook by Mari Smith I saw yesterday. Then a friend Pam Brossman left a comment with words that closely resonated with me. This also related to several posts I have written recently on this topic. Do you Follow The Gurus or Follow Your Heart and last weeks inspiration on Be The Change
It all seems to come back to following your heart and listening to that small quit voice inside- your intuition. So when I drew the card below this morning I really feel like I have begun to make the shift, follow my intuition and the universe is listening.
Courage from The Archangel Oracle Deck by Doreen Virtue
Are you listening to your heart and following your intuition? Sometimes I know it is easier to talk about it than actually do it. It does seem like now is the time for those of us who are what I call Change Warriors in Hiding to take the covers off and step into our power. I would love to hear your thoughts.
do you have a newsletter I can subscribe to?

Hi Suzie,
I love this quote from Steve Jobs! Thank you.
I think it’s so important to be still and listen. I don’t think that precludes listening to an authentic guru though if you are fortunate to meet one in this lifetime!
Thanks for your regular doses of inspiration.
Hi Sandra,
Totally agree with you about listening to a wise master, mentor or guru- knowing when it is time to listen to your own authentic self is sometimes the secret too
Love inspiring you
Suzie
Hi Suzie,
I think we need to follow our hearts and intuition and not every guru we see.
I love the illustration you used – Courage too.
Yes, follow your intuition and the Universe will support you.
Hi Angela,
That is so true, it’s a matter of training that lizard brain to listen to that small quiet voice within:) My mind does need to be trained to follow my hearts sometimes.
Seems like a key feature to intuition is being willing to listen and receive. Goal setting and decision making are important but so is what the poet William Wordsworth called, “wise passiveness.”
Hi Paul,
Love ‘wise passiveness”- and yes being willing to listening and allowing what we need to receive is I agree more important thank goals- thanks visiting and commenting
