Being empowered brings both joy and success, so often becomes disempowered by feeling we don’t have enough time. Does time sometimes stop you keeping the commitments you make to yourself and that you have announced to the world? I has announced that I was going to paint each day for 21 days!
Saturday morning I was leaving home at 6.30am when I got up I was going to meditate and thought I won’t have time to paint today- not so- I was drawn toward my painting room and took out a smaller piece of paper and painted what you see above. This is reminiscent of my fabric painting days where I would layer color in this way across the fabric which might then turn into a scarf, a ties, a jacket and was often the basis for a much more detailed painting and pattern. What was so good for me to feel good knowing that I was honoring myself and following my inner knowing, It is often ego that stops us following our heart and moving towards the path of success which in turn brings joy and empowerment.
I see the magic of a sunset in this painting and it is a painting I may also use as a backdrop for my videos.
