What do you do each day that keeps your heart in touch with your creative spirit?
I have continued my daily 10-15 minutes of painting each day since I completed my 10 x 10 series back in January. I love it. Usually I do it when I first wake- It is like a morning meditation and sets the tone of the day well
Four Years ago Angela Artemis gave me a prescription and I started painting on paper, something I hadn’t done for years. I painted for 21 days and shared each one here on the blog. Painting then became part of my healing journey and the birth of the Heart Whisper Weekly Ezine. Then I set myself a goal to paint 45 hearts.
This was prescription 1

My 100 Heart Project was inspired by Melissa Dinwiddie. After I finished my 10 x 10 project I painted for 2 more days and then I declared to the Big Bold Creative Life Community that I was going to paint 100 hearts. I have been sharing them daily in our private group and last week I started to share them on my Instagram, Facebook and Twitter pages. From tomorrow a heart whisper painting will appear daily here on the blog.
100 is a lot of hearts, there have been days where I wonder what new will appear on the paper or do I have any more ideas and then as I let the brush chose a color and guide my hand onto the paper new impressions emerge.
What this project has done for me is get me back in touch with my passion. It’s so easy to forget to make the time to feed our creative spirit.
How did you feed your creative spirit today?

What a beautiful series of hearts!” You have inspired me to do something similar. I don’t really consider myself an ‘arty’ person – that’s my daughter! – but I enjoy taking photos of my local area, especially the flowers that are out at the moment. I will create something similar for my blog. Thanks so much for the idea!
What a gorgeous series of LOVE Thank you for sharing your creative light with us!
I’m all about hearts and heart energy and I love your heart collection Suzie. Wow so colorful vibrant and inspiring. My heart opens just by looking at them. Blessings
How delightful! I also find painting so healing and love your heart, they are so radiating <3

I love your hearts Suzie! They are beautiful and inspiring! Thank you so much for sharing them with us on Social Media! I enjoyed reading the back story on them 🙂 <3
Love your post Suzie! and loved your hearts!! I started painting years ago recommended also to heal after a divorce and LOVED it, from there I’ve been exploring other avenues using my creativity, like photography and writing. I’m always doing something creative! I just followed you on instagram 🙂
I have them on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and Google+. Plus my own art page. I added the link to that one as my website on this comment.
Hi linda,
found you 🙂
I so love your hearts Suzie! My morning prescription is yoga followed by writing. Maybe it’s time to break out my paint brushes and do a little heart painting as well….I doodle them often enough! xxoo
Your writing regime has inspired me Peggy, look forward to seeing you doodles and paintings xxoo
Dear Suzie,
I love your hearts and I’m so inspired by this grand accomplishment. Most importantly, you’ve been connecting to your soul each day through your creativity. Yeah for you! I tap into my creativity through writing.
Thanks Sandra, yes it is connecting with the soul that is so great and never really knowing what will transpire. I am excited about this journey xx
Dear Suzie,
I’m so glad my prescription had such a positive affect on you!
I love your paintings. They resonate with me deeply.
Sending you blessings on your continued artistic journey!
Angela
Hi Angela,
yes that was an amazing time, I love telling the story of how you suggested getting a coloring book and I said I had a room full of paints, etc …… It was such a gift love Suzie xx
You are so inspiring Suzie! I started out in life an artist and shifted away from that for many reasons. While I incorporate creativity into my life on a daily basis, it’s been years since I have painted, but that little voice we are all so familiar with has been bugging me for the past year and every time I read one of your posts it reminds me to set aside some time to revisit that calling. One day soon …
Wow Marty. I did not know that. I look forward to seeing what happens when one day you pick up the brush again
I love all your hearts, Suzie!
Thanks Diane 🙂
That’s a lovely series Suzie 🙂 I’m doing a series of 100 paintings too
Hi Linda, thanks, look forward to seeing yours too. On instagram?
Thanks Suzie for sharing your passion! I absolutely love your art and how you keep things exciting by challenging yourself with different projects. How awesome is that! -Stacey ❤️
Welcome Stacey, yes this is a challenging project, with lots of passion and potential 🙂
Hey Suzie, I finally got the computer fixed so I can click internal links! YEA!! I love your hears! I did some painting and some teaching drawing today! My creative spirit loves to do both! I got in on a deal where I got 3 canvases for the price of one so I got 6 new canvases —–I will be painting up a storm now! 🙂 Glad to be back! Love you!
Jean
