We are a third of the way through the challenge so I think today’s card is appropriate as it fits brilliantly with today’s gratitude activity. Reward Yourself : Celebrate YOU. Sometime, often really we celebrate others wins, how often do you celebrate you wins? Sometimes we need to forgive first and then celebrate. Be forgiving for being too hard on yourself, feeling you are not enough. You might have missed a day of recording you 5 things
Today celebrate you, I know if might be a bit confusing to have forgiveness in with celebration. Self forgiveness is a starting point for healing you. Maybe you find it easy to forgive yourself. I know that over the many years of personal growth work I have discovered that I have had to forgive myself quite often. It is easy to beat up on you, sometimes it becomes something that it might take your partner or friend to point out to you.
Des often picks me up on my language when I have done something I know is stupid and then I call myself stupid- not a very smart thing to do!
Message from the card: “You now have the opportunity to write the script according to our true hearts desire. Once you clearly decide upon your true desires and know that you are ready and deserving of them, they’ll rush into your life as if by magic.”
Is to first write down five things you are grateful for today
Count your blessings one by one as you started to on Day 6.
Today we are going to do Hoʻoponopono (ho-o-pono-pono) which is an ancient Hawaiian practice of reconciliation and forgiveness.Watch the video and then do the exercise. It’s very simple and something I use for healing, calming down, if I can’t sleep, lowering my blood pressure, while I am driving- great if you are stuck in traffic. You may feel a shift in how you feel about you. You might even feel your heart whisper.

Sneak up on you like it’s been watching and waiting? Well it did for me this week.
Last Friday I completed my chapter for a book on Self Loveand emailed it off. I felt good about what I had written. I then planned to write my weekly blog post, when my body started to ache!
So an early night with a lemon, honey, ginger and garlic concoction that usually knocks out bugs for me. Saturday morning the bugs had not left they had multiplied! I now had headaches, sinus pain and a cough.
I posted on facebook asking for love and healing and then I rested thinking this would pass in a day or so. The sinus subsided and the headaches left, great I thought. Then I had a crazy sneezing fit and I felt something in my back shift! The coughing increased, the body started to sweat, I couldn’t keep food down and the back pain started.
Then there was an OH NO moment! This was not a good feeling. My mind checked in remembering this pain back from last year when I discovered I had crush fractures, and thought maybe I had had another crushed vertabrae
I then started doing more mediation and visualizing myself being healed. Well I am good at healing myself!
On Monday I wrote the words below for the Monday Heart Whisper and headed to Aweber to put the whisper together. I discovered last week”s Shining Your True Colours, Heart Whisper still waiting to be scheduled, I did thank the universe and put this one aside to send out later.
Then on Thursday after a visit to the doctor and being told I had a lung infection, borderline pneumonia, the words I had written on Monday came back to remind me. Maybe I hadn’t been loving me enough?
My fragile heart is whispering rest,
Listen to your body.
The wisdom will come
When you slow down and rest!
There was good news! The intense back pain was caused by the lung infection so that made me smilebecause that meant it would pass soon. it also was reassurung that my bone growing program was working.
Being told this was a 2-3 week recovery time stopped me, I said: “Well I am being really tested with patience and acceptance!” and the doctor said with a smile “I wonder what you have done in a past life?”
Something to maybe meditate on as there is another lesson here for me or as my friend Heather said the other night “See this as an opportunity!”
On lung problems: Fear of taking in life, Grief, Not worthy of living fully! Depression.
Why do I have the capacity to take in the fullness of life?
Why do I lovingly live life to the fullest?
Then I turned the affirmations into afformations. I am going to do some journaling on grief, as some emotions arose that need to be released. I know I am not depressed, frustrated yes!. I am going to do some heart whisper conversations to see where I may have a fear of not living life fully. I know in 2014 I am going to shine, best to uncover any underlying fear early!
8 Radical Self Love Tips
I mentioned in the video that I maybe needed to introduce some new self care practices. What I am doing currently as part of this healing adventure is:
Daily Meditation, first thing in the morning, at the beach and then maybe another 10 minutes later in the day. This was one of the messages I was given when I first got this bug. More meditation.
Rest and that means for me now and afternoon sleep and lying down when I feel tired too
Stay hydrated, lots of filtered water which I have lemon with to keep body alkalized. They say disease cannot live in an alkaline body- My body is alkaline so it mustn’t have got that message this week!
Laugh and watch funny movies. I have a tendency to get a bit “poor me”as part of me feels I have been through enough in past 2 years or so:) Laughter is said to be the best medicine. I am building a playlist on yo tube. Please share any movies or clips that you love and find helpful. Laughter Yoga looks great
Visualizebeing well and full of energy. When I wake up I am taking time to visualize my day and seeing my lungs clear, i might visualize the healthy food I will eat that will feel my body and make my cells happy, the healing abundance of the seas, the healing and love I receive from around the world, connecting on skype and more.
Say YES TO YOU. This week Tess Marshall asked on her Thrive course: On a scale of 1-10 how difficult is it for you to say no? 1 is “impossible” and 10 is “it’s simple.” I wrote this: I have got much better at saying no. What came up for me while I was reading today’s words was okay Suzie now you are getting better at saying no most times to others, but what about stopping saying no to you when what you should be doing is saying yes to you! Very enlightening! I am really listening to the thoughts I think and the words I speak!
Exercise: something that is easy to let go of when you don’t feel well. The body still needs to move. What I am doing is having a shorter beach walk each day ( 10-15 mins), swimming in the sea as I believe those ions help to heal and breathing. We often forget about breathing and the cleansing power of the breath. I am taking 3-4 short breaks of standing and “belly’ breathing as this helps healing and opening my congested airways.

I read these words in Louise’s Cosmic Transition Report this week. The new moon today or tomorrow depending where you are in the world is on 4th/5th October. I decided after sharing in Be Shining: my full moon ritual and reading the words look at what triggers you that I have been addressing in the EFT course I am currently taking, that I would share what I will be doing to move forward with the energy of this new moon.
The new moon is a time for renewal,setting goals, (I prefer to use the word intention ) planting seeds and for reflection. A time of cleansing, releasing and new beginnings. Time to step up and even shine. Do what you are here to do.
Setting goals has not been one of my favorite activities. This week I got out my planner and felt a resistance to actually scheduling that was very strong, So I put it away. Not a good look as I found myself then in the wonderful state of overwhelm! Then in comes my friend procrastination. All in all not a good look or feel. A good time to manifest a healthier relationship with self!
What To Do?
To move out of my overwhelm I started today with meditation and painting, a new moon painting. I allowed what was within to emerge onto the paper. Initially I imaged that I would paint a fine sliver of white for the moon- intuition had other ideas. I painted this in 2 stages, the first one horizontally with the white and gold. later in the day I turned the painting vertically and what you see below was the end result. When I look at it now I can see what is below as some of the overwhelm I have experienced this last month and one of my intentions for the next month is to let go of the fears I have that stop me and put in place intentions that will delight me. Tomorrow I will use my new moon ritual to plan my month from one new moon to the next.
New moon ritual: I started doing this in October last year after reading around the web.
Creating Intentions ~ Create your list on the day of the New Moon and place your list on your altar or in a private place. Review your list each morning and evening to keep your intentions conscious, It is best to list at least 2 intentions-no more than 10 ( maybe 6 is enough), any more can dilute the energy and set you up for overwhelm. Start each intention with the words I create: eg: I create space for the new to flow into all areas of my life by releasing the old and unwanted.
Within 24 hours after a New Moon, take a check and where it says “Pay to,” write your name.
In the $ box on the same line where you would fill in a dollar amount write “Paid in full.”
On the line underneath your name, where you would write out a dollar amount, write “Paid in full.”
Sign the check: Thank You Thank You Thank You or Law of Abundance
Place the check on your altar or put it in a special place and prepare to receive!
New Moon Meditation: On the night of the new I go outside and light a candle, take my list of intentions and visualize my intentions. I am open to any messages or feelings that I receive. Then I might then journal before I go to sleep
Make a vision / dream board of your intentions. I haven’t done this for a while so I will make a new one probably in keynote although you can do this with magazines and make it a fun creative process. then use this as part of you daily manifesting process.

Green is the color of energy and abundance, of nature, of apples and pears, of limes, of broccoli, kale, spinach, peas and beans, of balance and harmony, of growth and money, of jade and malachite Green presents in so many shades and hews. As I look out my window I can count at least 20 varying shades and tones of green.
Green is the color of the fourth chakra, our heart chakra and love centre. The heart chakra is related to our ability to love and is a source of compassion, kindness and affection. When our heart chakra is in balance and we are accepting of ourself and others, our self-esteem is healthy and our vibes are high: We Feel Good.
This post is part of a Color Prescription series I started over 2 years ago , just before I experienced the autoimmune disease that put me out of action with a total kidney failure. I had painted a series of paintings which you can see in the video and I have added some that I have painted since then.
I reflected back on stopping this series at the heart chakra: I did have a draft back in July 2011! The message that I got back 2 years ago was that this journey for me was all about love, when I fractured my humerus in January 2012, it was in line with my heart chakra, as was my crush fracture. Seem the universe was making sure this time I slowed down enough to get the message!
I have had time to look closely at my own love path as well as observe others wanting to raise their love vibes.
Here are 7 ways I have found that help in opening the heart chakra:
Be Love: love and accept you as you are NOW!
Be KInd: watch the thoughts you think and the words you speak about yourself
Love others unconditionally- this becomes easier the more we love ourselves and release any need to beat up on ourself:)
Go out in nature, lay on the grass and watch the clouds drift by.
Treat yourself- soak in a lavender bubble bath
Breathe- deep breathing releases toxins and blocked energy
Forgive yourself- try using Ho’oponopono and EFT. These are two tools I use daily

Some days it is easy to be positive, I wake up full of gratitude I meditate draw an oracle card, journal, I have planned my day the night before and I am full of smiles. The world looks bright, my vibes are high and the day goes well.
Then there are the days I do all the same as above and there will be one things that throws a spanner in the works…… It might be a letter, a phone call, an email that takes me away from my intention and I go to do my daily accountability and find little to report on
Then there are the days where I just want to climb back under the covers or even just switch off from the world, head to the beach and read a love story or escape novel.
So what to do to be positive when a bout of the low vibes rolls in?
Do something that makes you feel good- I love having a coconut oil lavender bubble bath, lighting candles and playing music
Meditate- right now join the 21 day meditation Oprah and Deepak challenge- the first 5 days have been awesome. it”s about Miraculous Relationships, the first one being with you- the most challenging one I think
Pick up a paintbrush or even a texta and doodle. Allow your creative spirit to be free!
Go to your happy place, mine is the beach and let your inner child out to play. build a sandcastle.
Take out your journal and write a poem, start with the words” It’s not ending now……” the words that flow onto the paper will delight you.
Make a list of 10 things you are grateful for - being grateful always raises the vibes and moves one to positivity.
Talk to a friend- it’s amazing how I find that sharing where I am at with a friend always raise my vibes.
