when we are gratefulWhen we are patient, we allow gratitude to flow. We hear the whispers of our heart, and the doors to abundance open.

Using A Gratitude Jar To Empower You

When we count our blessings on a daily basis we raise our vibes, bring more abundance into our loves which is empowering. I makes us feel good.

I have made my gratitude jar for 2015 and it lives on my desk and each day I add in a note of thanks. Watch the video to see how you can get started today.

You can make your own gratitude jar as I  have shown you in the video. You need a jar, some glue, post-it, some paper squares ( I cut up coloured copy paper) and whatever you would like to decorate your jar with. I have used a copy of one of my paintings with the words My Gratitude Jar and  My Daily Love Boost. You might like to  keep it pristine and just tie a ribbon around it.

You could do this with your partner, husband and family, making it a daily habit.

Share below  if you have a gratitude jar and share your images on facebook or maybe google. you may have a wonderful story to share 🙂

  1. Yes – I have made Gratitude Jars … they are always fun to use and fun to see those colorful papers growing in there! … I haven’t made one this year – I am working instead with a journal – a Happy Happenings journal … writing down all the things that made me smile that day. …
But I just might start a new jar also! 😉

    Thanks for sharing … 😉

  2. What a wonderful idea and fun! I started keeping a ‘wild blessings’ box in Jan, where I basically write down wonderful things that happen or moments of peace that soothe my heart on a piece of paper and then place then in the box. At the end of the year on New Year’s eve, I will revisit the box to celebrate all the year’s blessings.

  3. This is a great idea. I love doing a gratitude journal at the end of the day but having a jar to pop your thoughts in as they arise is a great tool. Thanks.

  4. For years, I thought a Gratitude Jar didn’t do much for you. I had one – added what I needed to it – and didn’t feel any different. I wasn’t grateful – that’s why. In 2014, I started a Gratitude Journal and wrote in it off and on. I noticed my world opening up. Now, I make a habit of writing in it every night. I have a reminder on my cell phone to remind me. Other than my exterior world opening up, the world inside of me is as well.

Such a great idea and everyone should have a Gratitude Jar and truly open themselves up to giving and receiving.

    1. Hi Gloria,
Your comment delights me as i know the power of giving thanks can heal in so many ways. Love that you keep a journal. Wonderful you made that shift tp being open to giving and receiving

  5. I love this idea. You always are an inspiration! I read about someone who reads them on New Year’s Eve or New Year’s Day as a reflection of the previous year. In the US, this could also be done on Thanksgiving. You’ve inspired me to make one when I get back from vacation. I’ll start writing the sheets now!

  6. Inspiring as always Suzie! I made my gratitude jar at the end of 2014 to start the New Year right. It’s sitting on my book shelf with a stack of small squares of color paper so it’s convenient and I have to say even I’m surprised at all of the little notes in there already and it isn’t even March yet!

    1. Thanks Marty, I meant to start at the beginning of the year. Like you I love seeing the colors build inside the jar affirming all the goodness I have in my life.

  7. Suzie, I made one last month, I used my glass paint to decorate it, and I used a vase. So lovely to see the little pieces of paper piling up in my container.

    Blessings,
    Sue
